How It Works

 

1. How do I download the app?

You can download the app on the Playstore and on the AppStore by searching “Enuu”.

 

2. When can I use Enuu?

The service is open 24/24 every day.

 

3. How do I find vehicle near me?

To find a vehicle near you, simply open the Enuu app. You’ll automatically be taken to the map screen, showing all available Enuu vehicles in your area. If you don’t see any vehicle icons displayed on the map, zoom out to search a wider area.

 

4. How do I unlock an Enuu?

To unlock an Enuu, simply open the app and tap the “start the rental” button when you are located next to the reserved Enuu vehicle. The door on the left will open.

 

5. Where can I ride an Enuu?

Enuu vehicles can be ridden on streets and in bike lanes. Please respect all traffic laws and do not ride your Enuu on the sidewalk.

 

6. Where can I park 

Enuu vehicles must be on a bicycle and/or motorbike parking slots. Do not block sidewalks, service ramps, bus stops and shop entrances.

 

7. How do I end my ride?

When you have parked your Enuu on an appropriated parking slot, just tap the “end the rental” button in the app.

 

8. Can I ride without driving license?

To ride with an Enuu vehicle, you need, at least, a category-M driving license.

 

 

 

 

 

Payment

 

9. How much does Enuu cost?

Enuu costs just CHF0.90 to unlock + a small fee per minute to ride (only CHF 0.2 per minute).

During the first two weeks after registration, you will get everyday 3 x 10 minutes for free (unlock included).

 

10. Why do Enuu take a deposit and how does it work?

We take a CHF 30.- deposit after registration is completed. By doing this, we make users more sensitive to act respectfully towards the vehicles and other users and therefore ensure  safe vehicles for the community. The deposit is fully refunded in case of unsubscription.

 

11. How do I pay for my ride?

Simply enter your credit card information into the app and purchase credits you can use for future rides.

 

 

 

 

 

Safety & Privacy

 

12. What is a pre-ride safety check?

A pre-ride safety check involves a quick 3-step process to ensure your Enuu vehicle is in good working order:

  1. Pump the hand brakes manually to ensure they are taught

  2. Check tires to verify they are undamaged

  3. Visually inspect body of the vehicle for cracks or other structural damage

If the vehicle is not in working order, you can report it to Enuu immediately by tapping on the damage report button in the app.

 

13. Can I ride with a passenger?

No, it is not permitted to ride with one or more passengers.

 

14. How the insurance works?

While driving within the Terms of Use, you are fully covered with the vehicle insurances (CHF 200.- caution is not included). 

 

15. Why does Enuu ask for GPS location?

The Enuu app uses your GPS location to accurately show you vehicles that are in your vicinity.

 

16. Why does Enuu ask for camera access?

The Enuu app uses your camera to enable reporting of any kinds that would need a photo.

 

17. What is Enuu doing to protect my data and privacy?

Enuu takes our riders’ data and privacy very seriously. GPS data is always anonymized before sharing with cities. Additionally, we do not sell rider data to third-party recipients, and a subpoena or other lawful process is required to access rider data in compliance with legal obligations. 18. How much does Enuu cost to my city?

Zero. Enuu incorporates easily into cities' existing transportation model and greatly reduces carbon footprints. We also cover all maintenance and rider education costs.
